The study of mathematics develops the students’ ability to meet the demands of life at home and work and for participation in community and civil life. Students study number and patterns and algebra, algebraic, techniques and equations, angles and parallel lines, fractions, decimals, time, and length. In conjunction with these topics, we incorporate working mathematically where students engage in mathematical activity and develop skills to become flexible and creative users of mathematics.
